Single or married no kids , I would choose Bangkok for the experience of living in exotic country. If you have school going kids, then india and settle down

India is more exotic

Go for agoda bangkok, it has better work life balance then any company. Also you get to enjoy living in a different company for a while.

you can save like 30-50% easily in Bangkok if you live a decent lifestyle and not spend everyday with a night out.

What’s with all this minimum of 200k/mo salary requirement for 15% tax rate? Lets say if i am going like 170k thb/ mo, then would i need to pay 30% tax as per the progressive rate or will i get an advantage of the 15% tax rate?

Agoda minimonk1 3d

You will be on the progressive tax rate at 170k /mo so you'll end up paying around 18% of all earnings on tax. I do think the 200k min is quite ridiculous to get to the beneficial tax system.

So they only consider the monthly salary? Do they consider the whole ctc/12 including the bonus as well? Or just the base salary has to be more than 200k/mo?
