I just setup my environment but I noticed I updated some files abs added some by just running the setup is their a way to avoid committing to changes since they are just setup files on my machine? #software #swe #engineering

.gitignore should do the trick
I did that but I saw the changes to the main branch
Already added files need to be deleted first in order for .gitignore to ignore it henceforth.
