Is neither an option for you? JCPenny in this economy is high risk and may not help your resume. Moving plus moving specifically for Amazon is a major risk anywhere outside of Seattle given the RTT and URA targets IMHO. Trying to join a company during a time when they are trying to force huge amounts of people to quit without paying severance (after already doing several rounds of layoffs) is not a good idea. BUT we don’t know your situation or the future. JCPenny and not moving would be my choice. Amazon-Nashville seems super scary rn.
Makes sense
OP are you in Nashville? Not sure how 150k looks based on where you live
Currently in Dallas
Thinks JC Penney might be less stressful but there is (more) risk there with the economy potentially not having soft landing and retailers struggling.
