That's layoff. Laid Off people get severance packages. Cloudflare did performance based firing, meaning the company does not have to pay severance. Sounds like Cloudflare is doing layoff but calling it performance based firing

Well this is good news. I got an offer and cleared the C-level interview a while ago and I'm now just pending contract which they're "working on it" for a long time. I can see myself getting screwed. I still see them posting job ads for tech positions so not sure if it's just sales getting axed. If anyone has any info on L1 recruiting status would appreciate.
