I have just 2 yoe as a software engineer with experience in data engineering and back-end development. My ultimate career goal is to make more money and land a job at Microsoft or another big tech company. Is getting an online Master's in CS from a prestigious school worth the money? Or would I have just as much of a chance with UT Austin Degree so long as I excel in the job interview and technical rounds? Any recommendations on Master's programs? Is CS really a dying breed and I should jump ship to AI / machine learning? I love to code. YOE 2 TC 105k #swe #microsoftcareers #texas

Where is your Bachelor's degree from ?
University of Houston
It is from a proper university based in the US. Masters will be of little use. You can just learn on the job. If you want to go back to university, a top MBA will help.
No need a CS degree to get into a Big Tech company. Just invest time in your coding and system design skills
That's a good point. I appreciate that
