I got 52/47 for Ast alt levels. All other levels are normal. How worried should I be? My diet significantly changed lately to high protein intake (1g per pound) and I'm weight lifting three times a week since two months ago. I was told this is likely the reason. Anyone had similar issues?
Ask a doctor man
I would suggest you to get medications on it to control the liver enzymes as it may aggravate further. MY AST/ALT levels were 45/65. I had liver issues due to this and vit D absorption capacity of the liver was affected. Due to this, faced seismoditis issues in the foot where there is calcium/vitamin D absorption issues in the body. Only thing I can suggest is that push your doctor to give you medication to get this under control, if he is suggesting lifestyle changes, still push him for medication as I tried lifestyle changes for 2 years, it didnt work out for me to control the liver enzyme levels.
My dog has high liver values. He takes milk thistle and that has actually helped
This doesn't sound like a big deal, go see your PCD if you are worried.
