Thinking of buying a Lenovo laptop from Costco for personal use. Recommend or not recommend? (I wonder how Costco supports warranty issues on laptops 🤔)
Isn't the warranty provided by manfacturer?
Right. Costco is just about return policy and they have a shortened return period for electronics now anyway.
AppleCare is cheaper from Costco too. Their laptops fall under electronics categories, which can only be returned for 90 days. However, I spoke to a rep about AirPods, and they told me electronics rule is really only about computers and TVs. So with headphones, you can return/ exchange them like any other product. Which is a nice to know, given my family went through two pairs of AirPods that died within 2 years. Buying from Costco you could just bring them back and ask for an exchange at any point.
They have a 90 day return policy so why not? Just get one to use now then if there’s a better deal for Black Friday, return it and get that instead

I don’t see any issues here. Buying from anywhere brand new will give you a one-year warranty. If you want extended/additonal warranty, you can buy extra insurance.
