iPhone 11 manufactured in India. What is there to rejoice?

It's still manufactured by Foxconn. Positive is more employment and getting to learn how our Asian counterparts perform and perhaps come up with an Indian Tigerconn. https://www-livemint-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.livemint.com/companies/news/not-in-china-but-chennai-apple-starts-manufacturing-of-iphone-11-in-india/amp-11595574997264.html #apple #foxconn #manufacturing #iphone #india

Once manufacturing starts, academia starts changing their courses as there is demand for those skill set. More companies will follow. Further foreign investment and list goes on. I could not see any negative downside for this. Start looks small with one company, but in a decade transformation will be huge.

All parts inside are imported. You cannot come out a tigerconn because so few Indians are trainable. The trainable ones are already paid very well. They don’t have to work for tigerconn.
