All employers are exploitative to some extent, but the worst offenders are the ones that unions are for. We don’t see many tech unions because we have been lucky to move around easily due to having skills that are in demand and companies competing for talent. I am a little surprised they actually found it easier to form a union than to just leave.
But their TC is still lower. What's the point of the Union?
