Anyone at Demonware?

Anybody at Demonware? How is it there? Do you suffer the same like devs at Activision? Interested in systems engineer position. Not sure if my experience lines up with what they are looking for though.

I have had a great experience at DW over all. Substantially better than general Activision. I have heard from some not having a good time, but most people I know have loved working at DW. The culture is amazing, so is leadership and work life balance was the best for me across all half a dozen places that I had worked at. A key disadvantage is there is no standard stock component for every one. Rather it's only given to a few who are imp to company. Also there probably are a few managers that ppl don't like much, but there sure are some amazing ones too I think sys eng there would be great. Bonus each year is decent and tied to ones individual perf as well as the company

Thanks for the feedback, that's good to know. I think I need to refresh my old knowledge, a lot of the requirements I'm rusty on. If you don't mind me asking, what is your role and TC?

Lol Demonware is a much smaller company within Activision. So that info is far more revealing than others. It has offices in Canada Dublin and Shanghai so comp is very subjective to that too. But let's just say an expert dev / team lead level role can pay close to 200k TC in Canada where TC is sum of base and bonus. Ireland pays lesser in euros, taxes are similar and that number goes further. An intern might start at around 45-55k cad in Canada. A senior probably around 150-170k, though stocks might change things. The benefits there are pretty top notch including lunch in both offices with effectively 28 paid leaves a year. Hope that helps
