I interviewed with them. They gave me an offer and then went radio silent. Later on they said that they don't have a headcount for the job I interviewed for and didnt even have a headcount when I interviewed. The recruiter even said that not having headcount before interviewing happens often and tried to convince me that most other companies do it too. I would not waste a PTO on them. Especially when you're in GS

I am looking for a switch as I don’t have any learning experience here and really wish to change where I can grow in career. I am really sad to hear what companies do these days to keep their headcount of how many people they interviewed.

To be clear I have not experience this deception elsewhere. The recruiter just said other companies do that to make their unethical practices look normal, which is totally not and a blatant lie
