got positive feeback from onsite interview at level 5 and subsequent talks with hiring manger. its been three weeks since my initial interviews and still waiting on an offer (which they say is coming). I know they are growing at a rapid pace but i know someone who interviewed for this same position and turned down an offer he (supposedly) received the following day. getting annoyed with this whole process yoe-10 tc waiting to find out
What team is this for?
Any range provided by recruiter for L5 engineers?
What was your impression of their company culture?
That was actually a big concern for me going into the interview. I had heard negative feedback about culture from a few different people. People talking down to others or treating each other like shit... when you bump into someone they don’t say excuse me... things like that. So I took this as an opportunity to interview them as well. My impression was it’s probably not as bad as what I’d heard... but the longest tenured interviewer was probably less than two years so that was a slight concern. Not sure if they get a lot of overturn but from what I gathered culture-wise it’d be worth me making a move if the offer was worth it.
I'm from L5. Culture is neither too great nor too bad. It's kind of average. Regarding tenure, our whole org itself is 2 years old. So you'll see a lot of new people.
