My wife and I have been fostering kittens for a few years already. In the beginning of the pandemic we got a super cute litter of black and white kittens. They still had their eyes closed, and actually for two kittens the first thing they saw in this world was me, lol. We had to bottle feed them, of course. In the beginning it was every two hours, so we took turns during the night. We decided to adopt two of them, one tuxedo cat, and one white with black patches (like a cow). They grew up to be such loving and affectionate cats. And one of them likes to play fetch. :) I couldn't imagine before, that cats could be like that. I haven't had pets before, so this was basically my first experience of really interacting with non-humans, and it blew my mind to see, that they definitely have their own minds, albeit simpler than a human being, of course, but maybe comparable to like a 2 year old child in most aspects. Anyway, just wanted to share something positive with all you guys.
I think I might love my dog more than any other member of my family, including my children.
Lol. I can easily see that.
Cats are cunning and entertaining
Why can’t you have a baby instead?
We don't find babies to be cute at all, sorry. Not everyone needs to be a parent.

Thanks for sharing, this sounds like a lot of fun (and hard work). They must be so cute!!
