Future of Impossible Foods?

Have till tomorrow to lock in my purchase on equityzen. Get in on Impossible Foods or not? Is it worth it to get Impossible Foods at $33.5 per share at $8B valuation on equityzen fund? Note: This is not an express deal. This is the shares acquired and are being sold part of their funds. BYND is already valued at $8.82B as of today. I am planning to hold long term. 2 to 5 years. But are there chances of the investment doubling? Also is Impossible Foods making profit? I couldn’t find that information. Blind folks, what do you think?

As someone that eats both, impossible burgers taste a lot better and more like real meat than beyond burgers. They have started selling it at some grocery stores and It's worth the higher price in my opinion.

What do you think is the future of impossible foods?

Good, they have a superior product. Their burger meat even bleeds when you cook it. I think their meat will be more attractive to meat eaters than beyond burgers. It grossed my vegetarian girlfriend out that it bleeds. I believe vegetarians/vegans prefer veggie burgers that don't try to taste like meat. The main advantage I think beyond burgers have is that they are a little cheaper and easier to find in stores. If impossible foods can get prices down even closer to beyonds, I would see no reason to buy beyond burgers over impossible burgers. I'll buy shares when I can.

Beyond has way deeper biz relationships and more mature supply chain. Impossible is a better product but costs more to produce. There is a lot of discussion in the alternative meat space about both companies. Impossible has potential and grocery store placement is meaningful but you can’t buy them in fast food places and catering companies don’t use them the way that they use beyond beef/sausage. Easier money to be made elsewhere in medium term in my opinion.

Thanks for the insights. Appreciate that. Do you see impossible scaling to the level of BYND? Would you recommend I cancel my investment on impossible? Cause it’s not small amount. About $30k

Depends on your personal risk tolerance and objectives. If you’re looking for outsized returns in the 2-3 year time horizon I think there are stronger plays in AI, telemedicine, alternative energy, junior gold miners, rare earths, etc.

Well it’s a $30k hold I have. DM me for details but my risk reduces by splitting. So if you are interested DM me.

I believe in the long term profit of Impossible and all non-animal meat companies, I think it's a huge market considering: Many vegetarians globally (maybe a billion?) Reduction of substandard animal farming practices

Amazon realbezos OP Dec 8, 2020

What do you think the market cap for that could be 5 years down the line? Also, is Impossible Foods profitable?

Did you buy? I am considering at $41 but not so sure
