Went into an interview prepared to take LC style interview. I was surprised to find a snobby panel of interviewers asking me computer science trivia. You could say that LC doesn’t prepare you for a software engineering job, but honestly the subtleties of computer science doesn’t either. And then when I asked how they apply the things they asked me in their work, they stutter, pretty much saying that they don’t, at all. I only got into that interview because I trusted a 3rd party recruiter who told me, they can match close to what I make. But after the fact I look on levels.fyi, Glassdoor, and google, but can’t find that their compensation goes beyond $170k… lmao TC 340k
I got their offer too, too much trivia questions.

We have allowed way too many Indians here in USA.
They make the hardware for Dish network. 3rd party recruiters will lie about client comp, always check levels first.
Shouldn't BS when you have no idea what you're talking about.
