This is a question for Musk fans who dismiss any criticism of him as whining from triggered lefties. Musk seems to have paid more than double the valuation of Twitter. He owes north of 1B/yr just in interest. He may have made the worst deal in history in terms of dollar amounts. His grand plan to get himself out of this mess is layoff 50%, burn out the remaining 50%, and charge for stuff that’s been free for 15 years. Have y’ll asked yourself that he may not be as smart you think of him to be? That he had no clue 2022 will look very different from 2021, just like the rest of us. #twitter #elonmusk
twitter brand to be auctioned soon
From a business perspective, Musk has done some extremely clever things with Tesla/other companies. For instance, Tesla exclusively offered a luxury model during their early days to maximize their profit margin. He is a pr/marketing machine like no other, literally making a million dollars overnight with very niche merch products like the “burnt hair cologne”. Make no mistake, I don’t really like Musk as a boss/leader, but I think he is still pretty brilliant
The more he talks and tweets the more I think he stole ideas/took credit than believe he's smart.
The fact that the tweets were “idiotic” enough to catch your attention + millions of others is the ironic brilliance
He’s also customer-oriented. https://mobile.twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1591813228119855104
That’s some 5 star service.
Prediction: once the economy climbs up, companies will hire back. Twitter peeps will start leaving for better opportunities. But ad revenue will also start pouring in so Twitter will also be hiring. But the damage to the Twitter brand itself can prevent good talent from joinin in for long term so twitter will have to pay hefty salaries. But elon would also want more profits and Money and will try to squeeze as much value as can from employees. So twitter will become more like amazon but 100 times worse. In the long term good people will leave from twitter and twitter might go down and some new platform will emerge. That's my prediction for like next 5 years
Imagine a Tweet could make $20B volatility to Eli Lilly, the platform is quite impactful and Twitter is one stop shop replacing all mainstream media sooner than later. I think he is on a mission and this platform is crucial for him to be an influencer in all business/political affairs.
He can’t do it himself. He’s fired most of the folks who could have helped him in his mission
Someone who oversees multiple companies and diverse pool of tech talent and who figured out 'rocket science ' It is hard to believe he isn't resourceful to manage Twitter and reform it's business. A fresh new thought to Twitter is what he needs and it is better fulfilled with new set of folks for sure.
Someone has to defend democracy from the fascist left
this is the most boomer ass meme i’ve ever seen
