Prior to being laidoff from my last job , I experienced the most traumatizing behaviors from my manager , head of department and senior leadership in charge of that department - It eventually led to layoff in the name of “ Reorg” - I wrote my first review on Glassdoor and Glassdoor deleted it after a few weeks, I still decided to write a new more diplomatic review and now they have sent this. I understand Glassdoor is a private company et all but why sell something they are not . “Oops, there's an issue with your submission. Below is information about the issue and how you can fix it. Was the previous company Andela?
Yes
lmao, me too. I was laid off as well from Andela but there was no explanation, the only excuse they told me was that they were downsizing due to market volatility. What position did you work in at Andela? I used to work as an IT Systems Specialist.
You were venting instead of providing valuable content.
Actually no, I provided valuable feedback -- Not all feedbacks are positive
yeah right
Happened to me too, although I had a positive review. That site is buggy and s*****y
No one uses Glassdoor anymore, drop a comment on blind
Agree
lol who even looks at Glassdoor? Everyone knows the reviews on there are scrubbed
After Glassdoor acquired Fishbowl, they merged the two products. They linked my public Fishbowl account with my private glassdoor account without my permission and killed my anonymity on the platform. This pissed me off. Seems like they want to be a social media platform going forward. I do not trust them to keep my company reviews or activity on glassdoor anonymous anymore. So, I deleted my account right away and asked them to delete all my data (Honestly, I do not trust that they will do this).
Companies pay to keep their records clean. Users like you are not valuable.
Quite the opposite. Reviews like those by OP becomes ransom for Glassdoor
