I recently interviewed for SWE role in the Map infrastructure team at TuSimple. Can anyone from TuSimple share their views about this team? Like how’s the work culture in this team, and what kind of projects does the team work on? #tech #av #mapinfra
We're going through huge layoffs right now. Stock is at an all time low. No clear path to making money. Do what you want but understand where the company is at.

What was the scale at Motional?
Also curious about Motional. Articles said “dozens” but I read 200 elsewhere on Blind.
not the best time to join AV companies right now.
Why do you think that? I know investments into AV is bad right now, but most AV companies are hiring and increasing their head count
Where’d you hear that? Only Tesla seems to be hiring. Cruise is only hiring very senior engineers, Argo closed down, Motional and Nuro underwent layoffs, Zoox is on hiring freeze, and TuSimple has had crazy company management changes
