Bought a new car earlier this year and they somehow opened an account for me with $36 six-month subscription promotion. I never used it and not gonna use it. I got it canceled today but they still charged me $5. However, I’ve never connected any credit cards or any financial information to my account, so I’m curious if I can let the balance sit there? Or should I just pay it? TC: new grad 0 #siriusxm #misc
Give them a call and see if they can waive it. If not, just pay it off. It's $5. It'll be a shame if they send it to collections and it hits your credit. (Though I'm not sure that's likely to happen)
I got screwed by them, the service was disabled and they kept charging me for months until I caught it (likely a shady salesperson said I re-signed). Horrible company.
Their retention offers are great. I offer to cancel every year and they give me a great deal so I keep staying on. Your experience doesn’t surprise me though.
Thanks guys. Prob just gonna pay it off and hope they don’t keep charging me (although I confirmed with them that the subscription is canceled). I really thought they will cancel it automatically for me since I didn’t pay the $36, but instead they wanna accrue it and automatically renewed the subscription for me. Feeling hella scammed by them
SiriusXM are very aggressive with their customer retention techniques, they never charged me but they don’t stop bugging me to register to their service even though I don’t find it useful
Indeed. So I’m just wondering if I just don’t pay the remaining balance in my account🧐
