Has anyone taken investment course from meet kevin. Considering Master Stocks And The Psychology Of Money course. https://meetkevin.lpages.co/ft-2/ I have been following his youtube channel and i like it. Need to know feedback as i have to pay 500$ for the courses.
His advice is very straightforward, but not bad. I love his channel and personality, but what he sells is essentially his guru personality. Much of his success is right time right place. Many people who took the exact steps he did (but a few years late or early) got super screwed. It worked out for him, and now he is capitalizing on it by telling you, you can do just what he did, but that's not necessarily true. We don't know what the future holds. If you need more convincing that its essentially a sham, check out Jeremy Financial Education on YouTube. He sells a similar course, but is far less charismatic, so it's fairly blatant how he just got extremely lucky making very high risk speculative investments in one of the most unprecedented bull markets in history. Then realize that Kevin and Jeremy are essentially friends that regularly collaborate. I love watching meet Kevin his content is extremely entertaining sometimes mildly informative but paying him money with the idea that he has some unique financial advice that you could acquire is kind of silly. However, if you're looking to get access to Kevin because you're a fan and you think he's a cool guy and you'd like to talk to him, then by all means pay the money to join his course and you'll have that access.
Thank you @LrBF61 for details. Honestly i am not too worried about spending 500 USD. But there is more to it when you mentioned 'Much of his success is right time right place. Many people who took the exact steps he did (but a few years late or early) got super screwed.' I have capital and i am planning to deploy it and taking his advice may cause it to go down instead of up. Thats what makes me not take that course.
What's his TC?
Don’t know his TC. But his net worth is 41M as explained in one his recent videos
The guy got lucky leveraging into real estate after the GFC while getting popular on YouTube. He doesn't have any secrets that are worth $500 and he's somewhat of a charlatan. Don't encourage these people by buying their overpriced and unuseful courses. The guy's a YouTuber who thinks he can do stock analyses for his viewers. Do I really need to break down how this guy's popularity and luck has fueled his ego to make him think he's a master at everything?
I bought his course a month ago. Haven’t gotten time to use it yet. But I like his daily videos, although he acts little eccentric. It’s a one time fee. So just bought it and use whenever I need to learn more . Plus gets access to his discord channel..
yes, can you have a look and let me know what you feel. I want to particularly understand thought process behind picking up unicorns at early stage. I do have my portfolio so i am not new to investing.
Hahahahaha that guy. No way. He makes his money off YouTube and selling courses. If he was really good at investing, he would have started his own investment firm. Never trust a YouTuber like this. He thinks Tesla is going to 10x even at its current valuation. Absolute nut case.
Well , yes his majority wealth comes from real estate. And now he is using to play in stocks and earn money via courses and YouTube videos. But he never says that he will give you financial advice which you can exactly follow and grow rich overnight? He does mention that what happens to most of his trades, whether it went as planned or not . he only gives his DD and you research it and then take action.
I don't believe he has said Tesla is going to 10x. I think there is plenty there to criticize without making shit up. He is very bullish on Tesla, but I don't think he's made any specific projection on it. However, a reasonable criticism of his Tesla position is how much of his stock portfolio is in Tesla. I believe it's over 50% or was at one time. The lack of diversification at his stage is a bit irresponsible although I am sure his real estate investments offset the risk of his stock portfolio quite a bit.
He states this is not financial advice, and then starts to give you financial “advice”. He is just praying on YouTube plebs. Do what you want, but if I wanted to learn stocks and finance I’d go to a professional.
He has a standing position due to Tesla. Whatever convinced him to invest in Tesla, it paid out. Similar to him, there are other people who have their one stock they love which can payout or not depends but no wants to listen to them as they are kinda loser at this point. Similar example to him is DFV on Reddit and dogecoin millionaire. One trick pony. Once all this dust is settled and he comes out as a winner then I will truly admire him.
He’s already a winner. Making 6 million from YouTube videos. No matter how market moves he makes money.
Once the dust settles, people will eventually start losing interest in stocks, let apart listening to his videos. I agree, he is smart and did take right decisions at right time (so I do not see him as lucky). There are definitely somethings to be learned from him but following him blindly or "respecting" him as a greater investor will be incorrect.
Basically he is either a 1 man hedge fund or more of a extreme risk taker on a winning streak (latter makes sense since he needs YouTube videos to sell the hype and fund his cash flow). A simple job holder shouldn’t copy these risky trades since you don’t have same cash flow to cover the potential losses. The guy makes 6 million a year from YouTube, makes sense he can risk it all and still not be as badly affected. you don’t
thank you for insights. mostly won't buy his course.
