Employees are just disposable resources
Unfortunately so are our users or at least that’s the way our leadership treats them. It’s straight up evil working here. Looking to find my way out of this darkness.
“Charter CEO Tom Rutledge angered employees last month when he issued a memo telling them to keep coming to the office even if their jobs can be performed from home, because people "are more effective from the office." What an idiot. It makes more sense for these people to work from home even without a pandemic. I feel like some of these backwards companies will only change after they get sued.
Moron boomers run the world
Not the whole world. But for US, yes for sure.
It’s worse than this. I know for a fact that after people in the office got sick, they didn’t clean certain areas that employee frequented AND continued to insist other employees continue to come to the office. They didn’t and still haven’t notified contractors who work in the offices of any of the Carona related notices including the fact that their coworkers have tested positive. This is the such a wake up call.
Smh... just read the article. Pathetic and shameful. We got ordered to NOT come in the office (office workers) and they're even tracking access if you do go and questioning why. As rough as it is working for my company I'm glad they responded how they did after reading that article.
Are you in the st louis dev center by chance? I feel pretty spoiled working there. Although, 2 people on my team left this month, both of which mentioning pay one way or another. It's my first year as a FTE. I was a contractor to hire last year.
Arizona. I'm a legacy L3 employee 7 Years now
Are you guys looking for new jobs like crazy?
Sounds like there’s a class action lawsuit brewing
Oh but they did supply us with low grade daily reusable masks and a knock off Chinese thermometer, some Chinese knock off sanitizer, and finally some knock off Chinese sanitizing wipes. With a video that states the same thing we have been hearing from the CDC and news. No real change other than a lot of PR work regarding COVID and a pay out to the whole rioting and looting and human rights movement. I add all three into one because the rioting and looting have taken front stage while pushing the need for change to the back.
Aren’t those your coworkers?
Yes, but morons run charter
Why does every telco/ISP seem so fucking incompetent?
