Exit stock market?
My husband and I have run into some pretty difficult times after a failed business and we have to buy a new car before we file for bankruptcy. So that we can afford the safest vehicle for my little kids, I’m trying to get an employee discount for Honda or Toyota. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do so? Thanks in advance! #benefits
Sorry to hear. What's the logic behind buying a new car before bankruptcy?
Because my current car is 8 years old and I won’t be able to get a loan for 5-7 years at minimum. Unfortunately, it’s not a choice, it’s a necessity. Also, my attorney advised me to buy a new car because 1) it’s legal and ethical and 2) the car will not be part of the bankruptcy as we will continue to make timely payments.
Toyota
And make it a poll
What is the current car?? 8 years isn't really that old. What reason do you have for replacing it?
Don't know any discounts but I can guarantee you that Honda civic 2016~2021 model beats any Toyota Corolla models. Blindspot camera saved me many times. Source: I've been driving civics all my life. My wife has a Corolla and I drive her car sometimes
Wow smells like a scam. Use the money you’re dropping on a car to make good on your debts. You signed for these debts - now do the right thing. Declaring bankruptcy right after buying a brand new car smacks of someone gaming the system.
Used car?
New because I need something that will last 7-10 years.
I can understand why you are filing for bankruptcy if you think a new car is required in order for it to last 10 years. Best of luck!
