Splunk and SignalFx
How’s the culture at Splunk and the integration with SignalFx? I’m looking at applying to the Seattle office and would appreciate any info or referrals. Yoe: 15 Tc: $360k #culture #officelife
SignalFx is a separate division from Splunk-the-product. SFx is part of the Observability Suite, which is a cloud first platform. Most of Splunk-the-company is oriented around Splunk-the-product. Working in Observability org is lonely, and there is not much opportunity for growth right now. If you plan to stay for 4+ years, it might be worth it.
So a non-Splunk team then. Huh...kind of like the team I'm on. Feeling like a consultant most of the time.

Not in that team. But long time Splunkers seem to have better culture. Ask if this is a new team or an established team. There's been a lot of movement in the company because of need for growth in the cloud space. Some teams are completely new. Also it's old Salesforce, not Lightning. I am unfortunately not having a good time since joining 2 months ago. Might be leaving soon.
Thanks for the info, sorry your new position isn’t working out. I’ve not heard of lightning before, I’m from a SF acquisition. Is it a big deal?
