Asking for a friend who's choosing between internships

My friend wants to eventually become a Quant Trader or a Quant Dev at any well performing firm when they graduate. They have two options for the summer: Derivatives structure intern at CBOE and a quant dev internship at a mid tier big bank. They wanted to get some insight from recruiters and just people in the industry on what would be better for their resume.
