Sanitize your legos
Children's legos are touched frequently and can build bacteria over time from who knows what. The easiest way to clean them is by putting them in a mesh bag and then putting them in the dishwasher. Your child's health will thank you later.

Heisenberg gave a demo of that in the first episode of Breaking Bad. Clean way to sanitize. Just have strong bathtubs though.
It's bacteria they were already exposed to. Unless they are immuno-compromised this is really not necessary. Washing hands after playing with Lego is what should be recommended here.
