Avanade vs Slalom
Avanade or Slalom in terms of annual increase and green card sponsorship probability. Gave up my PERM for greencard sponsorship from current employer due to ridiculously low compensation. Really need some advice on which of these two firms are better.#tech
I'd go with Slalom. You may be able to negotiate the Perm/I-140 filing timeline.
Hm that's what I thought. But the base difference is 10k. I know 10k less annually is not much. But, Is it worth accepting 10k less with better "wlb" ?

Can you negotiate with slalom? Or negotiate on yearly bonus at least. Clients are good. They are nice enough not to layoff people during pandemic. That’s what I have heard

Slalom is known for higher entry TC with slower progressions/raises but as an ex-Avanade, I think it's similar there as well. I really enjoyed my time at Avanade though since the people are great, and I hear good things about the people at Slalom as well. Both are similar, but Slalom is a local model with clients in you area whereas Avanade has projects around the US including Accenture projects
In my exp, slalom edges avanade/Accenture for product & eng roles. Have you decided yet? Successful negotiation?
I’m at Avanade and I can tell you that GC sponsorship is possible but taking some time and need business approval…
Avanade has no maturity in terms of immigration and GC process you will destroy your career and gc
Avanade doesn’t support green card sponsorship they will delay it as approvals will go on in circles amongst Managment.plus if it works out you need to sign a bond of 2 years employment with them after getting greencard or pay the cost avanade bore for that which could be 10k+
