Boeing is the only genuine competitor to Airbus. Considering that it’s also the contractor for U.S. government, what do you folks think about their stock right now? Will U.S. government intervene to clean Boeing house? Is it a good time to buy or do you think it is going to go down even more? #tech #boeing #airbus
Boeing will not go out of business. I do think they will be sued at some point, I can’t imagine them not. I can see them hitting a stagnant stretch similar to 3M due to lawsuits. I’d either wait and see or dollar cost average in. I’m not sure it’s worth jumping all in on BA given the optics. Would rather pay more than assume risks up front
The US government is intervening indirectly by the FAA investigating their production procedures after various whistleblower allegations (i.e. why did that passenger window blow out during flight). This investigation is taking place at the Boeing level and with some of their suppliers.
us government wont ever let us fail but that doesnt mean they’ll ever go back to 100% of the glory days. buying stock would be a gamble.
Will likely spin off their defense company or split into two
Why do they have no dividend smh. Many better options to choose from IMO
Used to, but they paused it after the 2018/19 crashes and then just kept it off
