Hi Netflix What might you say are your regular work hours? I know this varies based on the team but I am just trying to get a general idea. 8 to 4? 9 to 5? 8 to 6? Tc : 350K
I'm generally in office by 930, the parking lot is maybe 50-60% full (Los Gatos). People start leaving around 5, and I was one of the last ones there the 2 times in the past 6 months I stayed after 6pm.
😳 That’s not even 8 hours... Netfliiiiiiixx..... 😭
Do you guys code in That short time? Or is it meetings
I don’t attend many meetings, managers are sitting those and provide context.
9-5 is normal. Most everyone is out by 5 but I often stay to snack and mess around.
9 to 6 on regular days. 10 to 6 on gym days. People who commute on shuttles are usually 10-4 but might be on computer during commute. Generally the office is not busy before 10 and winding down after 4. But it's not about hours at Netflix. It's about impact. If you're getting your work done then attention won't be on your hours.
I'm describing my LG office experience.
7 to 5.30 pm. Its about getting things done fast, taking people along, moving out of your comfort zone and doing whatever it takes to get shit done. It's not an easy job in the first year. Its very draining back to back meetings and quite intense. I'm exhausted when I get home.
8 to 4, eat half at my desk at with other people
Do Netflix employees get any perks like early access to new seasons of original shows, international content, etc?
How do people with families and kids take that kind of workload? I would bet it's a sure shot recipe for divorce 😂
