What am I miss out on by not living in a big city like New York or Chicago or San Fran? Are the opportunities better and is the social scene much more active in big cities, and better for dating as a single man? Is tech a better option in those cities than in a medium sized city for TC, career growth, high paying companies? Currently in DFW, and while on paper itâs a âbigâ city due it always being combined with Fort Worth, its city life canât hold a candle to the regions like NY, SF, Chi, Miami, Seattle, etc. Itâs basically a giant collection of suburbs TC 150 yoe 4
Opportunity comes with your network. Depending on your industry, the city you live in matters. In person connections will always trump virtual ones and the human/personal connection matters. Dating is for sure the best in NY or Chi imo - SF is mid-af. But dating in todayâs world is just a shit show anyway (best of luck boys). TL;DR - nothing wrong with DFW, but if you can move to NY, SF (hate to say it, but best for tech), or Chi - do it. You wonât regret it.
In your 20s, live in a big city for at least 1 year Is a lot of fun

I mean would you leverage what the city has to offer or sit in your little depression box and cry about your tc on blind all day like most of us
Sit and cry is easier for sure. This is Blind, not Strava đ
