Had an amazing talk with the recruiter, Principal Senior Data Scientist, also I only heard good about them in general so this comes as a big shocker. I am also picky who to interview and do checks which he passed all in my books. The recruiter said let me send the benefit package and that I can ask any question anytime before meeting with the hiring manager. That is last week. Feels shitty, also honestly can’t tell if he got laid off either. I sent him two follow ups one the next day and one five day after. None bounced. I don’t understand what is the point of scheduling and showing up with such energy and then puff gone .. doesn’t make sense. Is this common or am I just bad at reading the cues? Tc: 🥜 Yoe: 6 SDE
This is common these days. I gave interview a month back and everyday the recruiter keeps updating me saying I will have an update today/tomorrow etc.. Feels very disrespectful!
Was that after a screening or a technical? I didn’t have any. Still if the hiring manager didn’t like resume a reply back is not that much work.
