IRS Warns Thousands of Taxpayers They Could Face Jail Time
Hi, I was checking out levels.fyi and over there I saw that Nvidia pays better than FAANG. Is that true? I was surprised because NVIDIA is a hardware company as well! #compensation #money #jobopening
It's possibly cos most ppl are reporting their TC including stock appreciation. I don't think nvda pays as much as faang...no bonus and much lower RSUs.
NVIDIA is paying much better since last 5 years. Base is much higher (offsets no-bonus) Stock refreshers are not comparable to FAANG but due to stock appreciation they are as good as them or better in some cases. ESPP 15% and 2 year price lock in is worth when stock is riding So yes if you take net net year, you will find NVIDIA engineers making good money and will continue to as long as stock is appreciating.
Thanks and I didn't understand about the bonus. So you don't get an annual increment on your bonus according to performance?
In Nvidia annual salary increment is there, but there is no concept of bonus. During annual review you only get salary hike and some stock refreshers but no bonus
Base may be higher but worse refreshers and no bonus. Just depends on how you want your money I suppose...
