Is HPE a good company to work for? Pay and WLB?

HP was a great company to work for back in the days. It was the Google of those days. Great reputation and WLB. Hard to imagine right? I interned there and the people in the same org still keep in touch with each other after 15 years
I had the same question in mind. I have a potential offer from HPE in Fort Collins, Colorado but I live in Houston. Is it worth moving there without relocation assistance?

still a good company in terms of WLB and decent benefits health/dental/vision, etc. nothing else is good compensation is well under current market, stocks grants are low and the stocks are pretty much always low if not lower, pretty much single digit bonuses if you are lucky. company simply does not make a lot of money and can't grow anymore. besides that now it has a pretty bad reputation as well

Loved working there. Great place to work but pay wasn’t so good though

WLB sounds great - my interviewers seemed chill and friendly. Who cares if it doesn’t have the FAANG or MAANA prestige or whatever. I just got my offer to work on firmware/middleware and it sounds way more interesting than the BS web design I did at Amazon.
In California it’s a tier 4 company.
