Narrowed down to picking between platforms and solutions engineering. Any reviews for either position, or interview cycle? Are the interviews any different for either one? I have experience in both platforms and application development, I don’t really have a favorite. I’m also looking to find out which has better wlb, progression, culture etc. I know about the general downtrend in their stock, and I’ve heard their culture is rough. Any counters? I declined their offer for all the reasons Microsoft said. In-office full time. Boomer culture. You’d think that an AI company would be tech-savvy and progressive, and they feel like 1990’s finance culture. It’s really that bad. I got very political vibes when asking the hiring manager about the teams, leaders, and work.
Are you picking between offers? I just got rejected with a vague response 2 weeks after doing 3 technical interviews for platforms that I thought went pretty well. GL
If you’re a new grad, the in office should be a plus. I can’t imagine missing the experience of an in office culture. Now, when you have a family to take care of….that’s when it becomes a negative.
Bad culture. Refuse to work from home, you must be in the office. Their leadership, mostly the CEO, thinks work can only get done in an office, even for their sales teams. I got an offer there but could not get around the rigor of having to move family and park in an office for a job I would likely be traveling all the time for anyway. Awesome TC, like the product, just couldn’t get over the hump. Company doesn’t seem to have a solid strategy either.
Yea I got strong boomer culture vibes so I declined their offer too.
