What are your credentials and what location are you in?
I am in Denver metro area. Been a licensed attorney for 16 years, 14 of which I have worked as in-house counsel/contract manager. The past 2 years, I have worked for a large FinTech company as a contract manager.
Since we got the attention of an attorney: is there anything you can do to sue for these massive layoffs? Some class action suit? Or what conditions need to be present for any such case?
The only thing I can think of is if the layoffs are targeted at people >40. That’s the only thing I’ve noticed at my company is that every last person I know who has been let go is over 40.
But, they always give a list of 40+ still remaining in the company
