Hey blinders, Recently I have received a offer from HPE (greenlake team) for expert level and would like to understand the work culture, RSU refreshers in HPE for expert level engineers. I have received several other offers as well but I connected very well with this manager,team, products I’ll be working on and impressed with HPE greenlake offering and positive on the outlook . Please help me decide if this is a good offer to accept or there is a room for more. Base: 220k Bonus -7.5 to 20% (fixed is 7.5% and go up to 20% based on performance) Sign On Bonus: 70k (paid over 2 years 35k + 35k) RSU: 50k vested over 3 years. 1st & 2nd year TC : 288k 3rd year onwards: 253k + (any stock refresher not sure how much) Current TC: 255k Note: Expecting offers from Visa, TikTok, Okta and Apple as well. Why go to a transitional hardware company when you have other cooler options?
Role is in software Greenlake Cloud team which is HPE’s private cloud offering (similar to AWS) and it’s growing 20-30% each year.

The right teams at HPE can be great for career growth and TC. Greenlake is one of those businesses that’s getting a lot of investment from HPE so I think you’ll be able to have a lot of impact and opportunities for growth.
I think you can get better offer but competing offer will definitely help with negotiation.
Thanks for your response, may I know how’s the annual equity refreshers are and how much Initial grant I can ask for ? I also have verbal offer from Visa and TikTok but I liked HPE the most so far because of team and manager and work profile, hopefully they will reach 300k and I can accept offer then and there

HPE....Expert level, your pay is on high band. Don't expect any salary raise unless you get promoted to Master. For bonus, 7.5% or max of 10% for the most outstanding experts. Low level of employee morale. Just check stock price plot. HPE is a dying business over time.
Just read your post and noted the other offers including Apple. Hands down, go with any of the rest. HPE is on borrowed time. They are losing market share every year to AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
HPE sucks … better wait for other companies
