Hello Blind, I got an offer from Rippling and seem pretty convinced that there's a lot of upside potential. I'm curious about what other people think about the company. I've read some concerning things regarding WLB which is giving me a bit of hesitation. My offer (still need to counter-offer) Base: 200K RSUs/year: 125K (500K total RSU grant) Sign-On: none, but the recruiter hinted I could get some if I commit to signing the offer (if I decide to go with Rippling this will be my final ask) I think there's a lot of obvious value in a unified HR + IT platform but you're also dealing with software where there's large switching costs. There are also tons of "API economy" companies working to smooth over the edges of different parts of the payroll & HR software ecosystem (various "Plaid for payroll" or "Plaid for healthcare benefits" startups) which could lead to indirect competition by reducing the friction involved in using tons of separate systems. Even a modest 5x exit will result in a $2.5M pre-tax return from the RSUs (and I can more than cover my bills on $200K). TC: 175K, YOE: 6 #rippling
Congrats on the offer. Rippling has raised 4-5x in valuation gains from the last two rounds I have been here. I’m hoping for another 4x in the next round.
Another Rippling employee here. 4x next round even before the multiple compression in public markets since Nov is not financially sensible for any company given the same numbers. The speed of growth naturally decays because of the law of large numbers and maintaining EV/S multiples.
How is the wlb at rippling?
Hi OP congrats! Did you take the offer? Also, curious what's the role and leveling?
What was the final offer? Did you get sign on too? What role and level? Thx
Are you willing to take a risk for the potential of huge returns? Your call. I would say 5x exit sounds bullish. That’d be over 30B which seems like a lot. Lot of competition in this space
