Maybe we should also invest in non-Indian CEO’s, y’know since they seem to have a monopoly on tech companies. 🤪
Did they ask him about Gautam Adani and what happened to people who invested in India previously? For instance, did Snap and FB get their return? The only thing western people have achieved from investing in India is to make Indian elites significantly richer than they actually deserve. Sundar is one of those elites, same as Gautam Adani.
Ohh so Money laundering 2023 edition
That sounds about right from this CEO who should return home and found his own company instead of running a US company into the ground.
I suspect a lot of the layoffs are actually, post pandemic remote work is finally here and isn’t going away, the positive side of this is, we have adapted to work remotely as teams. Why not cash in and hire people from places with a LCOL, not outsource just global hiring. The tech companies have hired loads from India, why bother with visas and paying the Silicon Valley salaries, to work via Zoom. My prediction is this is what we will see end of this year.
