Skydio - Interview experience
Has someone interviewed at Skydio in last 6 months. Want to learn more about their interview process. Apparently they have a PPT-presentation round as well. How long is their process? Not much info is available on the company but their roadmap seems good. I am interested in Embedded Software role in the company for which I see some openings on their website. Any info on the company's latest interview process is appreciated. #skydio #drone #interview #embedded

But the real experience is with the hiring manager or the interviewer. Your job ends after you have scheduled a candidate.
I’d beg to differ - any strong recruiter knows what the hiring manager wants out of the role, knows their personality, knows the coverage areas of the panel. The recruiters job is to identify qualified candidates, prep them for their interviews, and negotiate on internally on your behalf.
I had one in 2021. The dude called wrong number despite my number on the resume and made me reschedule 2 times. As soon as we connected, he says “I know you have a hard stop” o hadn’t even said anything and had set 1 hour slot. At that time, there was no team the role they were hiring for. He wasn’t going to be a teammate or the manager. I still wonder why did he get on that call? He was an ex apple so had some attitude.
