Synopsys vs Marvell
I have been working as contractor to Synopsys with their SG group for Subsyetm Verification and got a permanent position as ASIC Design Verification Engg Sr I and also have an offer as Staff Engineer from Marvell for their PHY BU. Both of them are providing me the same compensation. I am looking to stick into one for next 3 years. I am looking at the opprtunity from a long term carrer growth perspective and also from WLB. Kindly suggest which one will be better as new Semiconductor industry is growing in India. #marvell #synopsys YOE-5.6 TC-50LPA
Synopsys seems safer , especially if you are in a money making unit.
I am into Solution group of Synopsys.
Also let me know the average increment in Marvell and how is the bonus payout .

5.6 yrs 50LPA... wowww... definitely synopsys
Its overall including JB and RSU... do not think that it is CTC
Share your offers from synopsis and Marvel , i would suggest to stick with synopsis, thers a chance that Marvel might start layoff people
From growth persepctive , how will be PHY BU of Marvell and Solution group of Synopsys three years down the line
Base pay in Synopsys is 32lpa , RSU 25K, In Marvell Base pay is 30LPA and RSU 25k. So Synopsys offer will be 50K less than Marvell in total.
