offer denied with close call
I want to understand how to infer, if the recruiter said that they are not able to extend the offer at this time. It was a close call and will keep in touch for future. Were they being just nice to me or should I expect that they do have some interest ?
No. That’s a blanket statement. If you really like this company, keep applying. There would be no value for them telling you that, other than to make you feel better. If you are super hung up on it, I have heard of people who reach out to the recruiter and ask for feedback. Best of luck. Have fun and be safe.
Thank you. Yes, I was not looking before. But after I engaged in discussions in the second round, I really liked the role and the company. I would wait and another 6 months and try again.
