Come to Microsoft only if you want brand name in your resume, otherwise Grab is a no brainer.
Microsoft offer is low balled. Ask for more stocks + JB. 5.5L per year is too low even if after tax.
Microsoft has a policy to lowball, but if she shows the counter offer they might up the stakes. Then again, not sure, you might be able to help more
I've alredy tried to negotiate with MS, by showing Grab's offer, but they are not changing anything.
Higher base is better in future offers because in India recruiters ask for previous salary. BTW, there was no need to mention gender in your post.

I am surprised that even with stocks going higher they are lowballing. You can put your foot down and ask for 60k dollars for 4 years, also ask for atleast 5 l akh joining bonus, basically put the ball in their court. I had got x dollars stocks initially, I asked for 2x dollars and eventually settled for 1.5x dollars, same was true for joining bonus. I can tell you wlb and overall culture is quite good, employee care is also pretty amazing. So I would recommend MS if they provide you your desired CTC.
Now a days they are not negotiating and giving low offers.Not sure what they are upto with hiring.
Honestly they are negotiating, though could depend on individual situations and circumstances. I helped somone in negotiating who joined in February was able to get a better a package.

As far as i know, they ask you for expected tc in msft during document submission. Can you tell how much you asked them in expected tc in msft?
