what is crossover for work?

If you go to the company profile page, read the job descriptions for their past employees. The one from the pm who worked 3 simultaneous contracts, you will see why I feel it's a very snobby culture.

Crossover is legitimate. I've been there 7+ months and it has worked out really well. As for the "spying"... they tell you up front that they take webcam photos every 10 minutes to check you're there and not sub-contracting. It is MUCH more transparent than other places I've worked. I worked at a well known software company, that IPO'd, and they had cameras in the office and positioned every desk so that management could wander the floors and see people. The founders would sit in their remote fancy houses and slack the VPs to complain about people leaving at 5pm. In contrast, no one at Crossover has asked me about my working hours - I simply get paid for what I do.
