I had a recruiter on the website called “way up” for Barclays reach out to me

And they forwarded me two jobs. One in NJ for a “cloud engineer”, and another in nyc for a JavaScript developer. I was interested in the JS role in NYC but not really the cloud developer role (I’m also more qualified for a Js role). The message told me to apply on the Barclays job site, but when I went to apply for the role it said that the JS job was taken down…? The job was posted on Apr 8th and I applied on Apr 9th..? I’m sad bc the job seemed fun— it was creating UI applications for stock brokers, and I’ve been trading stocks on all sorts of platforms for the last decade (Robinhood, Merrill lynch, public, Webull, and Titan are the apps I’ve used), so I’ve picked up some trends in the space. I also have been a software developer focusing on JavaScript and cloud technology for the last 4 years so it seemed like a very good fit. It seems like a super fast turn around to take the job posting down in less than 48 hours? Is that normal? There also were “UI developer” roles in London that were extremely similar that were up for a month and still accepting job apps.
