This is highest base I have ever seen for 7 yoe. May be you can negotiate a little on ESOPS. How many esops you were offered? And when will they go for IPO. Do you have any competitive offers?
it's just started a year back. IPO won't be anytime soon. So I am not counting on paper money offered.
If we leave the ESOPS and compare with your previous TC then this is not not a good offer. Maybe you should apply at some more company and use this offer as negotiation. But if you like the job profile and are sure that you will stay here for more than 4-5 years then this is fine.
I know a bit about distributed systems and I am decent in problem solving. That's all it takes to clear interviews. You don't need niche skills atleast in software development.

Just a off topic question. I have heard only java is allowed in the interview. For machine coding round I agree, but DS/Algo round is for checking the problem solving skill, there should not be a language constraint. So is this right? The language constraints

Typically early stage startups with good funding give high base, as they know that their stocks would not be with much in the short and mid term. This is especially true if the candidate is coming from a well known company.
