Allen institute of AI offer evaluation
My friend received an offer from AI2, and it’s a major pay cut. 25k pay cut in base, no RSU s but a 100k bonus over 4 years. Target bonus each year is 8%. Is it worth joining AI2 only for the work experience and amazing people ?

AI2 has one large project, called Aristo, and few small ones. None of the projects has been released to the public yet. This is despite spending more than 5 years on Aristo. They do have couple of papers published though, They are talking about open sourcing their projects, but have not done this yet. Not sure what is stopping them. For comparison, in the world of ML most teams share their tools and sometimes even datasets. If your goal is to get into ML, then it might be an ok option for you. You will get your foot in the door. However if you already have ML skills, there are other options.
