How is this company still alive? I thought it would die before John after Intel acquired it and sold it off.
The McAfee you're referring to isn't the same as it is now. Under Intel it was both Consumer and Enterprise under the same banner. Then enterprise split off to McAfee LLC, but still wasn't enough to divest from the brand and historical stains. Several sales and mergers later, enterprise biz is now Trellix. The McAfee brand is wholly consumer products now. It cannot survive as a consumer focus at the scale it existed and likely will go the same route as Norton.
