Be careful when you’re watching documentaries. They are portrayed as objective but most of the documentaries are biased. This was public way before the documentary. We shouldn’t be surprised when actual shots are called by inept people with self interest. It’s very common in software to release half ass product and patch later to meet a fcuking ‘deadline’. Games are a prime example. This is an attitude and fake fear problem. There is no willingness to build a product right anymore, just meeting deadlines, sucking up to investors and take selfish fat cuts. Even NASA succumbed to this with the (Columbia?) re-entry disaster and death of all astronauts onboard. Capitalism started peaking after WWII and all the stupid d!cks took over to destroy the ethics and correctness for pure self/monetary interest

Downfall: The Case Against Boeing is a must watch documentary. It does an excellent job of exposing how Boeing deliberately suppressed safety issues with its 737 Max which resulted in the crash of an Indonesian and Ethiopian airliners in 2018. It also exposes how FAA colluded with Boeing rather than ground all Max after the first crash. At that time, US media carried out a hit job on behalf of Boeing. The heroic pilots, who tried everything humanly possible to save the flights, were unfairly vilified as incompetent. The documentary only touches upon this briefly. It doesn't touch a topic which is sensitive. American media could get away with this kind of false propaganda only because American public is primed for it. No other people on this planet are more vulnerable to propaganda as Americans are. Americans wear the most distorted propagandist perspective with a zeal. In any case, after making sure that Boeing's commercial interests aren't affected, Congress carried out a hearing. USDOJ finally initiated criminal charges but quickly settled it with Boeing after the latter agreed to pay a fine of $ 2.5 billion. The CEO stepped down with a severance package of $ 62 million.
