Why shouldn’t I get an AP Royal Oak?
It’s just the most aesthetic, alpha looking watch in the market. It exudes power, class and avant-garde engineering. Why shouldn’t I use my bonus to get it? In fact I think any seasoned engineer and executive in F500 should be owning either a Patek, AP or Daytona to show their power. Pic from Instagram:

“Alpha looking” != “alpha”. Asking the same question on Blind two days in a row because you’re afraid to drop the cash on this thing that you covet is very beta indeed.

Omega watches are mostly boring, but there are so many others - breguet, glashutte original, and JLC are some of my favorites.
You should buy whatever that makes you happy. I prefer the aesthetics of Patek, but I don't feel like buying one.
Seasoned engineers make wayyy less than an executive in F500. But, to answer your question, yes you should absolutely get it! And you should also get the Ferrari.
