Why Modi not asking for votes based on work?
Got an offer for PM role that about 2x my current comp. Obviously there's a catch with that TC increase 🤔 I'm skeptical Anyone that works/worked at snap that can tell us more about current management culture?
Still have the offer even after layoffs? The catch is you have to work for Snap
Yea came in after the announcement
Which company is dying less?
IBM has withered and is a hollow shell of their old selves. But they have been around 100 years. No one will even remember Snap existed in 5 years.
Don’t count your stock.. it’s sinking and slow dying
Yes. It’s IBM. It will be 2x for any jump.
The Product org has A LOT of pressure on them right now. They want results, and if you’re not producing them within 1 year, they WILL blame you and fire you. Yes the comp is nice and pretty, but RTO is extremely aggressive right now. 4 days in office going to 5. 50% of layoff were workers who were remote, regardless of performance (we lost a lot of really great remote engineers) If you’re okay with all that, go w Snap. if not, keep applying.
What do you know about the mobile team in snap? A recruiter contacted me
Yea I don't mind RTO, I've had to fly to diff. client sites, so having a normal commute doesn't bother me
Take the higher tc and run
We do hire people from CVS now so you are welcome
Go to Snap, look for other opportunities. Monthly vesting and relatively low stock grant price are good.
lol
