I have 8 yoe, 7 in dedicated NS PS implementations between various partners and internal admin work. Currently doing independent work but I want to get back into W2 for a few years. ERP consultant ceritifed, strong ARM, OneWorld, MB experience. Last offical title in PS was Manager, then moved to Business Applications Architect. I enjoy the work and personally working to be SuiteScript certified. Truly techno-functional. Spoke with a hiring Manager about a Functional Architect role IC4. Quoted me a range of 125 - 150k + 18% bonus. Are there good teams within NS PS worth working for? Is the software vertical busy enough to stay billable? My expectations are low except where in the org to work. Ive worked alongside NS PS before - some good some horrible. Their delivery model is the problem but I dont think i can change it. So given that, are there teams worth working for? US ATX. Thanks!
Have you considered the option to join a NetSuite partner?
That range is right for IC4. Nice perk is to work from home quite a bit. You definitely can get picked up. I can’t tell if some portions of PS are better than others...but I would try to get into support ACS... implementations are always a PITA. Better to improve an implemented customer than to move them on to the platform... because even if it’s a perfect project, the customers are never happy since most have never done an ERP implementation before.
Thank you. Others have advised the Shared Services team. My recruiter said to just get my foot in the door as an implementation functional consultant in the services vertical first the “apply for a transfer after sometime with significant contribution”. That didn’t smell right to me at all. I didn’t even apply to that vertical.
